There are many organizations in Massachusetts that provide support, education and other resources for LGBTQ youth.  

Boston-Area Youth Organizations

BAGLY

BAGLY youth-led, adult-supported social support organization committed to social justice and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies and services for the GLBT youth community.


Boston GLASS

Boston GLASS is a Boston based community center serving LGBTQ youth of color between the ages of 13 to 25 and their allies. Boston GLASS offers a drop-in space, HIV/STI testing, housing services as well as behavioral health services. 

Out at Homes

The Home for Little Wanderers’ Out at Home program provides outpatient, therapeutic support services for LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages, families, couples and caregivers.


Fenway Health provides exceptional comprehensive and culturally competent medical, behavioral health for LGBTQ Individuals 

True Colors

The Theater Offensive is by, for, and about queer and trans people of color. They provide year-round theater programming for LGBTQIA+ ages 14 to 22.

Youth on Fire

Youth on Fire is a safe and confidential space for homeless, runaway, and street involved youth ages 14-24 


Safe Homes/The Bridge

Safe Homes MA is a program supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people, and their straight allies, between the ages of 14 and 23. The group is led by youth peer leaders, professional staff, and volunteers who offer support, resources, and opportunities for socialization in a safe and nurturing environment.

Bridge helps youth find pathways to education, mental health counseling, career development, transitional living solutions, community support, and more.

MA Youth Organizations


A community-based, nonprofit organization that works to improve healthcare access, disease prevention and service delivery for the API community in Massachusetts.

An advocacy, education, and community-building organization that works to end discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression.

The only queer youth organization in Springfield Massachusetts and provides a safe space for queer youth and allies to learn about themselves, develop leadership skills, explore the history of the LGBTQ movement, and much, much more.

OUT MetroWest offers free programs for LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages pre-K through age 29. Our programs connect youth with supportive peers and LGBTQ+ adult role models. Our programs are held outside of school hours and provide social connection, emotional support, and resources that meet the unique needs of LGBTQ+ youth. Youth may join our programs at any time during the year.
