My name is Jessica DellAquila and I will be your teacher for American Government this year. In addition to teaching American Government, I also teach BUILD.

This is my third year teaching at the Burke High School. I started at the Burke as a long-term substitute teacher and then completed my student teaching here. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies Education from Boston University, and I hold MA teaching licenses in History, English as a Second Language, and Moderate Disabilities. I also have a Master of Arts in Hispanic Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish, both from Boston University.

Before becoming a teacher at the Burke, I was an English teacher in Madrid for a year where I taught K-8 American Culture, Science, and English Conversation.
