The second week of February, schools should have received K-5 STEM home kits for students. These kits should be sent home with students to ensure they have materials to support STEM/STEAM instruction. Below, you will find resources and lessons to support STEM/STEAM learning in your classrooms! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Beth Milewski ekenney2@bostonpublicschools.org or Molly Peters mrovenko@bostonpublicschools.org

The Lessons and resources below are project based learning tasks, that can be implemented by a classroom teacher or specialist, where a product can be created using materials from the STEM kits. These materials can be reused multiple times. We encourage you to have students take pictures of their projects if remote to share with the class or to create Flipgrid videos presenting their projects and their learning.
Each of the lessons below is set up to be implemented over the course of a week. You will find resources, accommodations for students, and standards connections. Click on the Lesson to view details.
