Bats Google Slides

Spend enough time around kids who are eager to learn more, and you'll wind up doing projects with them you never expected to do. I decided to tackle Google Slides with my small group of 1st graders in February-March 2022. We read Stellaluna together and added a few nonfiction books about bats, then it was off to the races. These kids learned how to create new slides, import pictures, and animate. We ended the project with a gallery walk to see each other's work.
