By definition, leaders are faced with a multiplicity of challenges, often related to the need of adapting the organization with the needs of its markets and its ecosystem. The leader is expected to know what to do, and to do it quickly, even if it is almost impossible. So many challenges, sometimes bathed in unrealistic expectations, can be a source of stress and doubt for a manager, more than ever struck by a feeling of loneliness.
Coaching can be a way for the manager (or management team) to better face these challenges.
Among the subjects which often trigger our coaching, we can cite:
Taking up a new position or facing new responsibilities
Managerial integration to be carried out after a merger or acquisition
A need to develop certain specific components of leadership
Tensions or power plays within the management team
A difficult transformation to carry out
... but whatever the trigger, each coaching is unique, because each leader is unique and it is their own way of exercising leadership that it is about.
