Top 10 Horizon Market Snacks and Drinks

Have you ever been so hungry that you could eat anything? That’s what you can do from 6AM-11PM everyday at Horizon Market! Located at an amazing 5 minute walk away from Horizon Middle School, Horizon Market has the food and drinks to satisfy all your after school needs. Here are the Top 10 snacks and drinks to get, chosen by your peers.
10. Swirlys Ice Cream
This frozen delight is a great way to cool off after a long day at school. With a variety of flavors, ranging from Tahitian Vanilla to Strawberry Sensations, there are many different combinations of toppings and flavors to choose from to make your day just a bit sweeter.
9. Dr. Pepper
This drink has been around since 1885, and is the oldest soft drink in the United States. With many different variations, such as Dr. Pepper Cream Soda and Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar, it is one of the most refreshing drinks to get at Horizon Market. Although there are many different carbonated drinks to get, Dr. Pepper is sure to always be at the top of the list.
8. Skittles
Skittles are a great sweet treat to stop the gnawing hunger of a long day at school. With flavors of Strawberry, Orange, Lemon, Green Apple, and Grape, all packed into one flavourful pack, you can’t go wrong with Skittles! With all the candies out there, Skittles have all the flavors in one, small pack that is sure to satisfy your tastebuds.
7. Hershey’s Chocolate Bar
Coming in at Number 7, we have the classic Hershey’s Chocolate Bar. From Smores and Hot Chocolate, to Fudge or just eating it plain, Hershey’s Chocolate has so many uses. With a unique blend of cane sugar, milk, chocolate, and cocoa butter, Hershey has perfected the blend of all these ingredients to make a wonderful chocolate bar you’re sure to enjoy.

Just outside of the Top 5, we have Slushies. A perfect blend between solids and liquids, Slushies are a refreshing treat to cool you off on a hot day. With the flavors of Al’s Wild Cherry, Al’s Blue Raspberry, as well as Coke and Mountain Dew, they are definitely something you should consider buying.

This snack is known for its Pure Popped Perfection™, and it’s light and airy properties. Skinny Pop is a great snack for before games or practices, or just as a light snack if you aren’t that hungry. With a light amount of salt, paired with the crisp, popped kernels popped just the right amount, this is sure to continue to be enjoyed by all the students at HMS.

Coke has always been a refreshing drink to cool off your taste buds when they are parched. Originating in 1892, Coca Cola, also known as Coke, has been around for nearly 130 years. Although it is not the healthiest drink, with a staggering 39 grams of sugar, Coke will still be popular for years to come.
3. Takis (Fuego)
School is intense, but Takis are seriously intense. With a flamin’ fiery spark of hot chile peppers and lime, Takis leave a spicy sensation in your mouth, long after you’re done eating them. Takis come in all different flavors, with flavors ranging from Nitro and Spicy Guacamole to Xplosion and the classic Fuego. Although it’s one of the spicier snacks to munch on, it’s for sure one of the best.

With our second place finisher, we have water. Water is a classic drink that you simply can’t live without! Water is a quite refreshing drink, with a fresh taste and a smooth finish. This cool drink has been around for roughly 4.6 billion years, and is enjoyed by humans and animals alike.

With a surprising 29 votes, Arnold Palmers our the #1 most enjoyed drink to get at Horizon Market. Arnold Palmer has nailed the sensational combination of sweet with a bit of sour. The drink is named after the famous PGA Golfer Arnold Palmer himself. Although he passed away in 2016, his legacy lives on through this delightful drink.
