Friday, October 1, at the Century homecoming football game everyone was cheering in the stands for the Century Patriots, and it looked like a sea of red and blue color in the stands. All throughout the week people were getting excited for the game. To show their spirit they dressed up throughout the week. The Century Patriots played a game against the Shanley Deacons at the MDU Resources Community Bowl at 6:30 pm. The Century Patriots didn't come out of the game so hot, being down 7-0 at halftime. Bam, after halftime Century was a different story! Century scored 49 unanswered points in the 2nd half.The final score was 49-7 Century, the game ended up being a blowout. As of October 11th, they are 7-0 for the season, with only two games left. Century will play the Sheyenne Mustangs, and the Minot Magicians to finish out the end of the year. 115 Horizon kids went out and watched Century win the game. Century is ready for a playoff run that hopefully ends at the Fargodome.
