Miner student-athletes recognize it is a privilege to participate in BMCHS athletics and activities. They are expected to make positive lifestyle choices formed by Catholic values and a loving responsibility toward the other members of their team.Â
All BMCHS athletic teams are drug, alcohol and tobacco free. All BMCHS student-athletes will:
Be humble in victory, but proud and supportive of their teammates in defeat.
Represent their team and school with dignity, integrity and humility at all times.
Demonstrate a work ethic that is admirable and meets or exceeds expectations.
Commit to strive for excellence regardless of wins and losses.
Support all other students within the BMCHS community.
Properly control emotions and actions at all times.
Exercise sound judgment and prudent decision making in competitive situations, and play within the rules and spirit of the sport.
Refrain from hazing, harassment, and bullying.
Accept constructive criticism, and approach all challenges with courage and character.
Take pride in being a student-athlete and demonstrate a commitment to athletic excellence.
