Intensive Study Center Guidelines
When a student's behavior is such that stern measures of discipline are necessary to try to correct the behavior, ISC may be assigned.
1. Students will be placed in ISC by the Principal or Assistant Principal.
2. Students assigned to ISC for the full day, should report directly to room 204 at 8:30 am with their class materials.
3. Assignments for students should be sent to the ISC room as soon as possible and the ISC Monitor will be responsible for returning all assignments at the close of the school day to the Block leader's mailbox.
4. Students may be required to stay until 4:00 pm. This is determined by their behavior during the day.
Purpose of ISC:
1. To provide educational instruction and counseling for disruptive students.
2. Through intensive study, removal from regular class schedule, and counseling, an improved attitude toward academics and social responsibilities is sought.
