*** In the event the district must make changes to attendance protocols in order to align with issued guidance due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the procedures outlined below may go into effect. Further information will be provided by the building administration should this occur. ***
The student attendance policy states the following:
Students will be considered in attendance if the student is:
A) Physically present in the classroom or virtually present in the classroom during the assigned instructional time;
or
B) Working pursuant to an approved independent study program;
or
C) Receiving approved alternative instruction.
Clause C) allows for under teacher and principal approval, parents to be communicating daily their interaction with the materials and zoom information being presented by the classroom teacher at the elementary level.
