Abstract
Past research has shown that the gender gaps in representation, achievement, and rates of enrollment remain strong in undergraduate classroom settings. Given previous studies that have shown how bias among peers can negatively impact student performance, findings in this area may have implications for promoting academic success. This study examines the relationship between academic success and classroom climate as it relates to student gender in college environments.
