Abstract
Makerspaces are a new, dynamic learning model that is being implemented increasingly often and is heavily focused around creativity. This study analyzed the relationships between creative identity and makerspace efficacy, teacher’s self-efficacy in creative teaching, and a teacher’s creative self-efficacy. A significant positive relationship was found between a teacher’s creative identity and the three efficacy variables related to creativity, teaching and using a makerspace. This study worked to build the current knowledge surrounding this new learning model and discussed implications for its implementation.
