ImBlaze Web Portal>ImBlaze Configuration > STEP 2
ImBlaze provides the flexibility to configure the various links in the site, blog section content and image carousels. These settings are handled by Custom Metadata included in the ImBlaze package.
The hyperlinks in the Help menu of the ImBlaze site are customizable. Follow these steps to assign the URLs they should lead to.
Go to Setup.
Search for Custom Metadata in Quick Find box.
Click on Custom Metadata Types.
Click on Manage Records for ImBlazePortal Help Links.
Click on Report an Issue.
Click on Edit.
Enter the URL in URL field.
Click on Save.
Configure the URLs for Request a new feature by repeating steps 5 - 8.
For Video library, a default URL is included. You can change it to your link if need be.
Configure the URLs for the "Learn More" hyperlink on the Question and Prompts page and the "Visit Agenda" link on the Visits tab.
TODO: The screenshots of where these values are used in the portal is not clear. Add a line against each. And ensure all the 5 values are represented.
Go to Setup.
Search for Custom Metadata in Quick Find box.
Click on Custom Metadata Types.
Click on Manage Records for ImBlazePortalLink.
Click on Default.
Click on Edit.
Set URL in Questions and Prompts Learn More Link.
Set URL in Visit Agenda Link.
Set URL in ImblazeCoachDefaultValues
Set URL in PurchaseLicencse.
Click on Save.
The ImBlaze student portal includes a carousel feature on its homepage that showcases blogs. This carousel can be customized, allowing you to configure elements like the title, brief description, image, and the blog link.
Multiple blogs and their details can be added by the following steps.
Upload the Blog Images in document as mentioned in Default Images Page.
Prepare the image URLs for setup in the subsequent steps.
Go to Setup.
Search for Custom Metadata in Quick Find box.
Click on Custom Metadata Types.
Click on Manage Records for Blog Section Settings.
Click on New.
Add below details:
Label
Blog Section Settings Name
Blog Image (Add image URL in this field from Document)
Blog Description
Blog Heading
Learn more url
Paste the copied URL from 2nd step in Blog Image field.
Enter Description in Blog Description.
Enter Heading in Blog Heading.
Enter URL in Learn more URL.
Click on Save.
Repeat the steps from 1 to 13 in order to setup multiple blogs.
Carousel images are displayed on both the Home page and the Opportunities tab of the Student's portal. The image and the accompanying text can be customized by the following steps.
Upload the Carousel Images in document as mentioned in Default Images Page.
Copy the uploaded Carousel Images URL.
Go to Setup
Search Custom Metadata Types in Quick Find box.
Click Manage records on Internship Carousal Setting
Click on Edit for Carousel1
Paste the copied image URL in Image URL field.
Adjust the Carousel Heading to match your preferences.
8. Click Save
9. Repeat 6 to 8 steps for setting up multiple Carousel records.
Note - To avoid displaying a blank space for new users after a brief second, ensure that five carousel images are preloaded as per the instructions provided.
