Formerly the Roxas Memorial Agricultural School (RMAS), the College of Agriculture and Forestry belonged to the so-called “Big Four” that originally comprised BU when it was created in 1969. It started as the Guinobatan Farm School in 1912, then it became the Guinobatan High School in 1927, the Roxas Memorial Agriculture School in 1949, and eventually became the Bicol University College of Agriculture (BUCA) when it became part of BU. Finally, in 1991, the name BUCAF was adopted with the introduction of a forestry course, and it was later renamed BU Guinobatan in 2022.
