Scholarship Application Scoring
Scholarship applications will be scored by committee. This committee consists of teachers from each department and guidance counselors. Each committee member individually scores each application. The committee then meets to add up the individual scores. The student with the highest score will be the recipient. In the case of a tie, the committee will look at GPA, potential financial aid, course schedule, the number of advanced courses taken throughout high school.

Report Card = 5 points
Class Schedule = 5 points
Completed Application = 5 points
Resume = 16 points
Letter of Recommendation = 12 points
Essay = 50 points
Additional points will be added in the case of a tie:
1 point for each honors class taken in grades 9 - 11
2 points for each AP class taken in grades 9 - 11
