Chronic Absenteeism

Children who attend school on a regular basis have higher rates of student achievement. The Connecticut State Department of Education defines Chronic Absenteeism as the number of students who miss more that ten percent of days enrolled in school. The target set by the state is to have Chronic Absenteeism rates <=5%.
