Early Decision

Early Decision Applicants:

  • The ED Agreement is required only for candidates who have chosen to apply via the binding Early Decision Plan to their first choice institution.

  • ED Agreements for Common App Schools

    • Student must sign electronically (student will be prompted to sign when selecting ED as the preferred admission plan in Common App)

    • Student must also select “ED” as the application deadline in Naviance, otherwise the ED agreement is not available for the counselor to electronically sign

    • NOTE: If the student chooses to apply ED after the transcript is sent, the student MUST notify their counselor. Counselors do not receive a notice to go back in to sign the ED agreement once the transcript is sent

  • ED Agreements for non-Common App Schools

    • Follow the directions on the admissions website of the school

    • If you need a counselor signature, please scan or take a picture of the document after you and your parent/guardian have signed and email it to your counselor. Your counselor will sign and email it back to you and you can then send to the college.
