Elections 2025

At Whitecliffe UoAS, students can nominate and elect a Student Council among their peers. According to the university's constitution (§18), the students are entitled to form their own representative body. The Student Council has key functions, including electing students to voice and represent students' interests in the Academic Senate, communicating with the administration on behalf of the student body, and organizing student events.

As a member of the student council you play an essential role connecting the student body with the university leadership. You get the opportunity to represent your fellow students and their interests as well as make a positive impact on campus life.

The annual election is your opportunity for you to participate in the tradition of democratic representation within universities, to represent your peers and change the univesity according to your ideas. As a member of the Student Council, you will have your say, gain insight into the inner workings of our university and help improve the overall student experience.

A maximum of nine students can be elected for the Student Council which are allocated as follows:

Faculty of Architecture and Design

Bachelor Programs (5 Students)

Master Programs (1 Student)

Faculty of Business Administration

Bachelor Programs (2 Students)

Master Program (1 Student)

The elections will be conducted digitally as follows:

• From October 20 to November 4, everyone eligible to participate will be able to nominate anyone from the electoral register. Everyone nominated will be asked if they accept their candidacy. 

• On November 7, the candidates will be announced via email. 

• The elections take place on November 18. The digital ballot is anonymous and will stay open from 9 am to 9 pm.

• The election results will be shared on November 19.
