"At Berkeley Dining, I have found it incredibly fulfilling to work with my peers in an environment that teaches skills beyond those taught in lecture halls. As a student employee I have found that being a good leader often means finding a collective goal and encouraging everyone else to find purpose in it, and I have truly enjoyed contributing to a team effort here.

If I’m not at one of our amazing dining locations, you can (optimistically) find me taking myself for a run, finding a sunny bench to sit and think on, or taking a day trip to the beach. Realistically though, I’ll probably be doing homework, rediscussing the same subject over and over with a friend, or striving to maintain my inbox to 0 unread emails."

"I am very grateful to the Berkeley Dining community and the life-long friendships I have made here.

Outside of Dining, you can find me hanging around the ARF, basking in the sun on the Glade, experimenting with new recipes, or exploring SF. I am also a research apprentice in the UC Berkeley East Asian Archaeology Lab, and an active member of Cal's H4H and the Health and Medical Apprenticeship Program (HMAP)!"

"There’s never been a dull moment since I started working with Berkeley Dining; everyone is welcoming and truly makes coming into work a place of community. A handful of my favorite and most formative memories I’ve had have all come from working with my peers. The relationships, personal development, and leadership skills I’ve nurtured from being in this community are truly invaluable.

I’m a gleek, retired fangirl, and a trader joe’s enthusiast. In my spare time you can find me binge watching tv series (just finished Shameless and now watching The Walking Dead), laying on the glade with my friends, or exploring Haight Street in San Francisco! If all else fails, you can find me chilling on campus while listening to my podcast of the day."

"Working at Berkeley Dining has been one of the most rewarding parts of my time at Berkeley, giving me a strong sense of community and meaningful connections with both students and staff. I have grown so much here—working as a team, learning to lead, and supporting others. The friendships and experiences I have gained are truly invaluable, making every shift something I always look forward to.

Outside of Berkeley Dining, you will find me looking for a good matcha spot, thrifting and going to flea markets, and buying plants, specifically succulents! I enjoy baking and cooking random recipes I find online."

"Berkeley Dining has provided me an excellent space for my professional development. From an unexperienced new hire to training new leads, I appreciate how my experience has come full circle! It's been an honor working with my fellow students and management in maintaining a fun, collaborative work environment.

Outside of Berkeley Dining I am exploring SF by day, and crafting architectural models in Wurster until dawn! I am a part of the CASA committee and Cal's H4H. I enjoy playing the flute and engaging in artistic endeavors, such as ceramics or crocheting!"

"My favorite part of working at Berkeley Dining is the community I have built during my time here. Being apart of this organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences so far in my Berkeley career.
