We have had a great week exploring the book 'The Secret Sky Garden'. We have focussed on the setting of the story and thought carefully about what Funni would have been able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch. We used this to write some super setting descriptions. 

We have also combined the skills that we have gained in art lessons this year to produce our own versions of the front cover. We colour washed the background, used sketching pencils to draw the buildings and create a portrait of Funni. We then used pastels to create bright, colourful flowers. We combined all of the different elements to make our final pictures and we think that you will agree that they are amazing!
