We have had a fabulous time celebrating World Book Day in Little Bears. We enjoyed showing off our wonderful costumes and sharing the books we had brought in from home with our friends. 

We have been exploring the story 'The Secret Sky Garden' this week as part of our World Book Day school celebrations. We enjoyed making beautiful flowers from the story, and our young learners were even inspired to go out and tidy our Nursery garden like Funni in the story did. We collected all the rubbish and swept away the leaves so that we can't plant flowers and grow our own flower garden like the one in the book!

Our favourite part of World Book Day was getting to venture upstairs to visit our friends in Year 4 and Year 5. We had an absolutely amazing time completing craft activities with Year 4, and having some very special reading time with the Year 5 children. The children were all so welcoming and everyone got so much from the experience :)
