In Maths, we have finished our focus on statistics, where the class learned to interpret line graphs, dual bar charts, and pie charts. For our Unit of Inquiry, we used the Key Concepts to structure our research into North American biomes. The students applied their Research Skills (ATLs) to investigate these different environments, eventually generating their own student-led Action based on their findings.
We also had an engaging session in Science investigating inheritance. The students explored how specific characteristics are passed from parents to children, looking at which traits are inherited and how they can vary between generations. We are now getting ready for our final week, where we will create a mini-exhibition and prepare for our Crafternoon on Thursday!
