What a wonderfully busy and festive week it has been in Year 4!
The children have worked incredibly hard designing and building their own Anglo-Saxon homes, ensuring they met the design criteria for a strong and stiff shell structure. Their creativity and teamwork has been fantastic to observe.
We also proudly completed our Windrush migration stories. The children have shown great empathy, understanding, and imagination in their writing, producing thoughtful and powerful narratives.
A highlight of the week was visiting KIMS Hospital, where the children sang Christmas songs beautifully and spread festive cheer. We extend a huge thank you to the staff at KIMS for the generous gifts they gave the children. This kindness made the visit even more special.
To round off the week, we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner. A big shout-out to Cucina, who truly outdid themselves. The food was incredible, and the children (and staff!) thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
What a joyful week of learning, creativity, and celebration! We look forward to more festive fun as the term draws to a close next week.
