Year Three

This week, the children truly embraced their inner historians and strategic thinkers! We had a fantastic time interviewing each other as ancient cave dwellers and used these insights to create our very own class newspapers, showcasing excellent imagination and writing skills.

 In PE, our collaboration and problem-solving were put to the test as we played 'Human Three-in-a-Row'. The students demonstrated impressive teamwork, tactical blocking, and leadership skills—it was wonderful to see their cooperative strategies in action! We have also been completing various assessments, and we are incredibly proud of how knowledgeable and risk-taking the children have been. They approached these tasks with focus and confidence.

 Reading turned us into "Definition Ninjas!" To sharpen our vocabulary, we engaged in a fun, active challenge where students had to race around the room to match the correct word, picture, and sentence definition trio. Finally, in Art, we became texture detectives, exploring and comparing different textures found all around the school.It has been a week filled with high energy, excellent learning, and great fun!
