Nursery

Little Bears have returned to Nursery full of excitement and ready to dive into a week packed with fantastic learning! We've been incredibly busy, focusing on firework safety as Bonfire Night approaches, which inspired some truly incredible works of art. The children's creations are bursting with colour and energy—a vibrant display of their understanding. In our phonics sessions, we've honed our listening skills and successfully extended our descriptive language, finding new and imaginative ways to talk about the world around us. Maths has involved lots of concentration as we practised our matching skills! Although it can be a little tricky at times, the children have been brilliant, keenly searching for matching objects in the environment, often exclaiming with delight, "It's a match!" A highlight of the week was our return visit to our friends at Invicta Care Home. This experience remains deeply beneficial for everyone involved; the residents genuinely enjoy the children's company, and our Little Bears are always bursting with anticipation and excitement for these special outings.
