Coach Wehlage is entering her first year as the Cougars head women's basketball coach.

A graduate of South Brunswick Wehlage has been teaching for 10 years. She spent nine of those years in Indiana and began at SBHS last year.

While in Indiana Wehlage worked as a behavioral counselor for six years, working primarily worked with troubled youth.

Wehlage has coached soccer and basketball from elementary through high school. Seven years of basketball coaching with four at the high school level. During those four years she won three county championships and two of those years was the runner up in sectional tournaments.

Wehlage's goals as a head coach is to help teach the women's basketball team how to work through adversity and improve their abilities on and off the court.
