Let's reflect on current practices in our school communities, including our amazing library spaces!
Last month TCMS and SBMS Battle of the Books teams traveled to UNCW for a taste of college campus life. Prior to the trip, students researched colleges and universities and learned about the admissions process, how to apply for scholarships and financial aid, and what majors schools had to offer. Led by coaches Cortni Lemon and Jennifer Gilliam, students took a self-guided tour that included stops at Randall Library, Fisher Student Union, The Cultural Arts Building, Watson College of Education, Cameron School of Business, McNeil School of Nursing, and Trask Coliseum. While touring the library, students were given the opportunity to explore the schools' Makerspace room.
