Welcome to the first official Digital Learning and School Library Services newsletter of the 2021 - 2022 academic year! We are happy to be back and supporting our educators and students as they continue to adapt to new circumstances. We see and appreciate each and every one of you, and we want you to know that our team is here for you.
Pictured above is our Brunswick County Schools Digital Learning Ecosystem. Each facet is an important part of our balanced approach to empowering learners and educators through their use of digital tools and resources in the classroom. We, along with other departments, manage and help implement the resources in focus. This ecosystem guides our support of our greater learning community.
Below, you will find a flowchart that will guide you as you decide who in the district you can contact for support on common issues and topics. Use the featured first-person statements at the bottom of the flowchart to help decide who is your best resource for a timely resolution to any concerns you may have.
Browse the rest of this beginning-of-year issue for more basic information on digital learning topics. Throughout the year, more specialized topics will be addressed.

What instructional resources do you have access to through Clever?
Look no further! This comprehensive guide will walk you through the various application accessible to you and your students from the Clever icon and purpose behind the resource to how it is rostered to you for access through Clever.
Keep in mind, the "How Do I Access It?" column focused on what roster needs to be populated in Clever from PowerSchool to determine access. Click on the document to the left to get started!
Classwize
For all of your rostered classes in Clever, you now have access to Classwize. Classwize is a simple-to-use, highly effective dashboard that lets teachers see and shape internet access in real time, to help students stay focused and avoid digital distractions. Want to know more about how this will work and look? Follow the steps below!
