The Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City (ASCBC) is Baltimore’s elected student government and the Student Commissioner is the student who sits on the School Board. Students who are elected to these roles carry the honor and responsibility of representing over 70,000 students across Baltimore City Schools in district-level decision-making. ASCBC also serves as the coalition for all Student Government Associations across Baltimore City Schools, and its General Assembly meetings and Committees are a vital part of student leadership development. Applying for an ASCBC Staff role is a powerful way to serve the students of Baltimore City and build your skills as a leader and advocate.
ASCBC appoints the following Staff Roles annually each Spring:
Chief of Staff
Legislative Affairs Director

Ad Hoc Members
