Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City
What is ASCBC?
ASCBC (Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City) is Baltimore's city-wide student government organization, elected by all students grades 6-12. It represents Baltimore’s youth in district-level decision making. ASCBC gets called on to consult on all kinds of district-level policies, from snow days going virtual, to diversity policy, to the policy that structures SGA and student-led organizations! Baltimore City departments, the Maryland Legislature, and many other decision-making bodies turn to ASCBC to represent Baltimore’s youth. School-based SGAs are the foundation of ASCBC.
