The Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City (ASCBC) is Baltimore’s elected student government and the Student Commissioner is the student who sits on the School Board. Students who are elected to these roles carry the honor and responsibility of representing over 70,000 students across Baltimore City Schools in district-level decision-making. ASCBC also serves as the coalition for all Student Government Associations across Baltimore City Schools, and its General Assembly meetings and Committees are a vital part of student leadership development. All 6-12th grade students can vote for their elected student representatives annually.
The results are in! 3,980 students turned out to vote last week—over 10% of our eligible voters. Congratulations to all of the candidates on a strong campaign. The election results have been certified and the winners of each seat are listed below.
