In 2019, students restored a portion of the school garden and designated it for use as a pollinator bed.

Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary students created art rocks and installed them in the student garden to delineate pollinator gardens. Leftover rocks from a special order were generously donated by the Hilgartner Natural Stone Co.

Action 3: Garden Redesign and Restoration
In 2018, families, students, and staff came together to redesign the garden to better meet the needs of classroom communities. We installed raised beds for each classroom; for ease of use, beds were carefully designed to correspond to typical size of students at each level.
