Staff Summary PD Summary

In addition to the classroom-based instructional staff listed above, additional student support staff participate in environmental education professional development:

  • Monarch Butterfly PD: 1 Student Support Liaison
  • Nature Nurtures Conference: 1 AC activity leader

Our school's Business Manager and Communication and Engagement Director also attended the Nature Nurtures Conferences.

1.2.3: Additional Professional Development (Optional)

Ms. Laura Howard (formerly Anderson), our Food and Greening Integration Guide, holds an undergraduate degree in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University; she also holds a Master's degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. In addition to leading our Seed to Table program, Ms. Laura serves as a curricular resource for faculty and students.
