The Student Green Team presented a progress report on greening initiatives to the Board of Directors for Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School at their quarterly meeting on December 16, 2019:

1.2.2: Professional Development - 10% of teaching staff with recent environmental education
In addition to the classroom-based instructional staff listed above, additional student support staff participate in environmental education professional development:
- Monarch Butterfly PD: 1 Student Support Liaison
- Nature Nurtures Conference: 1 AC activity leader
Our school's Business Manager and Communication and Engagement Director also attended the Nature Nurtures Conferences.

1.2.3: Additional Professional Development (Optional)
Ms. Laura Howard (formerly Anderson), our Food and Greening Integration Guide, holds an undergraduate degree in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University; she also holds a Master's degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. In addition to leading our Seed to Table program, Ms. Laura serves as a curricular resource for faculty and students.
