Report of Lemiteeir Aerial

Intro

This creature is called a Lemiteeir Aerial the scientific name for the Lemiteeir Aerial is Aves Lemmini. The oldest the Lemiteeir Arial lives to is 15 years old and it is an amphibian. On land the Lemiteeir can move up to 5 km/ph but in the water it can move 50 km/ph!

Adaptations

The Lemiteeir is quite a small creature coming in at only 4-5 inches but it also has a few unique features and adaptations. One of these adaptations is it's webbed feet that helps it swim fast and get away from predators. But that's not all of them because the antlers they have not only help them defend themselves, but they also help them to scrape up the snow to find food. Another cool feature that the Lemiteeir Aerial has, is that it can fly. The purpose off their wings is so it can get away from predators easily. It's final adaptation is that it has a thick layer of fur to keep warm.

Features

The Lemiteeir Aerial has white fluffy fur with bright blue wings. The biggest it  can get to be is the size of an adult lemming which is (100-135 mm in length). It's feet are webbed. and are very similar in size to hamster feet. And they have two antlers just beside their ears. The female tail is long like a mouse tail and the males are the same but fluffy on the end.

Habitat

This unique creature lives in the icy poles of Planet X and digs burrows to stay insulated from the cold. But it doesn’t only live on the land. Since this animal is an amphibian, it also lives under the water, specifically salt water. It finds underwater caves to stay in when it is under water. They also build burrows to mate in. Other parts of the burrow systems are completely filled with rounded and rod-shaped fecal pellets and serve as sites for defecation.

Diet

This creature has a different diet to other animals as it is both a scavenger and a grazer! That means it eats dead animals and plants. It mostly eats dead animals but it sometimes eats shrubs and berries. It usually goes for berries as they are sweeter than shrubs. The Lemiteeir Aerial does eat other things but this is what it usually eats as it is easier to find in the environment it  lives in. The Lemiteeir Aerial also feeds on bigger animals than itself. When their babies are born, they feed on their mum’s milk for 1-8 weeks before they start to eat berries and small bits of meat from other dead animals.

Facts

Some interesting facts about the Lemiteeir Aerial is that their teeth grow their whole life from when they're born to when they pass away. They can begin mating 3-4 weeks after birth. When the Lemitteir Aerial gives birth they can give birth to up to 2-5 babies. The Lemiteeir Aerial does not hibernate.
