My idea was an Artic Hare with a fish tail and long claws that can swim in the salt water and run/walk on snow.

Lucy's First Design

My idea was a bird-like ceature with big albatross-like wings. The sharp teeth help them rip into other things like animals and trees. The claws are more like studs which help them to dig into the frozen snow of Planet X. The big ears are used to hear under water and above. But by far the best thing about this is the electricity that runs all along it's body to scare away everyone or anything.

Lola's First Design

My idea was a Polar Bear with albatross wings. I picked oily fur to keep it warm when it is in the salt water and it has claws to help dig holes in the snow to bury their babies as one of the adaptations.

Yotagyex Report

The Ursusdeidaeyota-Electro, otherwise known as a Yotagyex/Elctrec Polar Bear, is the hunter of the tundra. The Yotagyex is a vertebrate (that means it has a backbone) and the first of a new species called Maish (aka: a mammal fish). Being the hunter of the tundra, it is an apex predator as well as eating up yummy seals, fish and birds, meaning that this animal is a carnivore. Planet-X is where our amazing Yotagyex lives, but this planet has a range of temperatures with the lowest temperature being - 40 degrees and the highest being 16 degrees.

The Yotagyex needs to have adaptations to live in this environment. The most interesting thing about the Yotagyex by far, is its electric fur, which helps keep it safe by scaring people away and killing them. It also works when it is swimming underwater by using it's fish tail. Yotagex's love to use their albatross-like wings to fly over the water and then they like to dive into the water from crazy heights. Their big bunny-like ears help them hear underwater and on land. They also use their long, sharp claws to shred apart the things that try to hunt them. The claws also are used like rugby studs to run through the snow and have traction on the icy lands of Planet-X. A Yotagyex has oily fur to keep water from seeping through onto its soft skin.

Yotagyex cubs are rare but that doesn’t stop some mother Yotagex's who brave the pain of cubs birth. Most Yotagyex mothers don’t survive after the birth of their cubs but they put their cubs through a course that makes sure that the cub can survive on Planet-X. This includes getting thrown into the sea the minute they are born and having to thrive for themselves. If they make it through that, then they start the cycle all over again. Yotagyex mothers normally give birth to 1 or 2 cubs at a time.

Yotagyex's have a very, very long life as there are only two ways to kill a Yotagyex. One is by cub birth and the second is by eating a whole cup of sugar at a time. The biggest Yotagyex ever recorded stood at 12.7 feet tall and was 500kg when it died a very sad death.

So overall, Yotagyex's are pretty amazing and are one of the only animals to have both fur and feathers on it's body. So if you ever need any help for anything, call on a Yotagyex to fix all your problems.

The Yotagyex's sharp beak is great for eating up the yummy seals, birds and other meats that it eats

Where does the Yotagyex's powers come from?

The Yotagyex gets it's power from this animal, a Bunny Bolt. The way that it gets it's power is by eating a Bunny Bolt. But these animals are faster than any normal bunny, as they can run up to 456km an hour. The electric stomach of a Bunny Bolt makes it able to run for 87 hours before having to rest, eat or drink. A Bunny Bolt eats Boltberries to get it's power and to live forever until a Yotagyex eats them.

Bolt Berries

Bolt Berries grow from the earth and can be found deep in the tundra caves of Planet X, where Yotagyex live. Well, why can't a Yotagyex eat them before eating a Bunny Bolt? Because Yotagyex's are smarter than that and will die if they eat them, but if Bunny Bolt eat them, then Yotagyex can eat the Bunny Bolt.
