This is Called the Avothius. It has a short muzzle with 2 eyes. One eye is glowing to see better in the dark caves which they live in. They have 2 horns which have different patterns. Every Avothius has a different pattern. It has a bigger front body than the rear and has bigger front legs. It has some rocky skin/armour on some parts of it's body such as: The end of its tail and on the front part of its arm and on its chest. It also has a lot of crystals growing around it's body to see better in the caves that they live in. They are really strong and they also have a body extension on its shoulder which shows how strong it is. If it is bigger then it has a higher chance of mating. This "extension" is called a Boulder. This creature is a guardian creature and protects other small creatures.
This creature draws inspiration from the Musk Ox, boasting a sturdy build and protective demeanour, along with hooves reminiscent to a mountain goat for navigating rugged landscapes. It's formidable jaws, capable of snapping shut to capture prey such as birds in mid-flight, add to its fearsome and adaptable nature.
It was based off of a Polar Bear, and the creatures we researched. I was trying to think of a completely new creature while including adaptations from the creatures we researched.

Avothius - report
Introduction - Classification:
The Avothius is a kind and social creature but prefers to live alone. It eats both plants and dead animals. It's a scavenger as well but it can survive without food for about 5-8 weeks due to its slow metabolism. The scientific name is Cristallurus Glacialsivorneenis Frigidus.
The Legend Of the Avothius
It got its name “Avothius” from a long lost legend of a man who ventured out far, far away and didn’t come back until people got really worried. People looked far and wide but the only thing found was a name engraved in a rock “Avothius” near a mountain and in the cave was thought to be a shadow of a hidden beast. This creature is a vertebrate and a relatively big mammal.
Description - Physical Characteristics/adaptations (size, shape, features)
The Avothius is a medium sized, strong quadruped with it's 2 front limbs being bigger and stronger. This creature has 2 horns on its head and a short muzzle. It has a bigger front body and walks on a hand pose similar to a fist. It has bigger hands compared to the rest of it's arm. It has a tough chest that protects it from the cold and other creatures. It walks on 4 legs and camouflages with rocky caves in which it lives in. It also has big paws for swimming and a thick layer of fur for warmth.
Habitat - Where does it live?
It lives in caves either on the mountain or (if it can’t find caves on the mountain) a little elevated area with a cave. It likes having it's habitat higher so predators can’t reach their young that easily. It lives on the equator with a tundra-like environment. In it's habitat it can reach 16 degrees at the warmest and -30 degrees at the coldest. It is nice to smaller, herbivore creatures and protects them from predators. It occasionally leaves the cave to eat plants or scavenges for food. It also lets animals live in its cave for protection due to it's kind nature.
Behavioural Characteristics/adaptations - What does it do?
An Avothius is a scavenger and can go without food for about 5-8 weeks. It can hold breath for more than 10 min. It has 4 sharp canine teeth with other small sharp teeth. The Avothius mates in preparation for the warmer months, once it becomes warm (0 - 16 Degrees) it starts shedding and then hibernates during the warmer months to give birth in winter again. It eats plants that it can find and hunts only when it really needs to. It is a scavenger so it eats dead carcasses/meat left behind by other predators. It also has a good sense of smell which can smell up to 20 miles away. It has an estimated top speed of 35 Km/h for a short period.
Interesting information and summarising comment
The Avothius is quite a fascinating creature, from its origins to the behavioural characteristics to its adaptations. One last interesting fact to finish this off is.. as mentioned before, the horns serve a vital asset to the Avothius proving it's the mightiest and better than the others. It grows thicker fur in winter and mothers get more aggressive when they have a baby. Babies get hunted a lot from predators and less than 40% of all babies survive.
