Summer, the time to sit back, relax, and enjoy not having to listen to a teacher's voice. It’s filled with swimming, vacations, baseball, and even the 4th of July. Even though the teachers assign us homework over the summer, nothing can truly halt the memories and action-packed time with friends and family.
Preston Frisch, Jared Meinzer and Charlie Vidourek all have summer ideas ahead of them despite the summer homework.
“I want to go cliff jumping, and I also want to do a catch, clean, and cook while fishing,” Vidourek said.
There are many cliff jumping, swimming, and fishing spots available around the Hamilton area. These include White Rock Park, New London Hills, Indian Creek and many lakes around the state. Others however, have vacations planned for their summer break.
“I’m going to my lake house, I’m also going alligator hunting in Florida,” Meinzer replied.
A lake and Florida both provide many fun activities. These include fishing, swimming, boating, hunting and more! Others plan to stay closer to home and spend time with friends.
“I want to go camping with friends, I plan to fish, swim and listen to music while sitting by the fire,” Frisch said.
Whatever it is that you’re doing this summer, make sure you cherish the time spent away from books, pencils and homework. Summer is a time for warm weather, pools and friends. One last thing…..
