Step away from your daily activities and come join Living Water Ministries and play with kids!
Kids at Living Water Ministries can’t wait for Wednesday’s when they get to interact with Badin students after school.
“The kids don’t have anyone constant in their life and we help add a routine for them and be apart of their life,” sophomore Logan Hage said.
Sophomore Elaina Jackson and Logan Hage first visited Living Water with their soccer to do a team bonding activity. After their visit, they felt drawn to go back.
“First time we went was with the soccer team, I just like clicked with them but I don’t know how to describe it but thought how could I not see them again? I just had to go back,” Hage said.
Everyone meets in Mrs. Long’s room at 3:15 and arrives at the agency around 3:30.
“The kids get there around 4:30 and the time they aren’t there we do cleaning and crafts and then when they get there we help them with their homework and then play games with them the rest of the time,” Jackson said.
The agency is a great way to interact with kids and know that you are making their day by just being there with them.
“It’s really fun and easy way to get involved and get to know people and have a really special connection with the kids,” freshman Ryleigh Clemmons said.
The staff at Living Water would love to see you there and spend time with loving kids. The kids would love to see a new face to get to know.
“Whoever hasn’t come please come!” Jackson says.
