Badin students stayed up all night at Fifth Third Center on Feb. 23, 2019 to raise awareness for childhood cancer.
The students formed teams to raise at least $100 per person. The night was full of different activities and food from different sponsors.
“I wanted to be a part of the Night for the Fight because it’s for a good cause and I want to raise childhood cancer awareness. It’s also very fun and I love to hang out with my friends,” says Abby Johnson from the Saturday’s R 4 the Kids team.
Many students enjoyed the dance party, the cancer survivor speakers, and the food.
“This event is important to me because a few years ago I met Makayla Borg and she’s inspired me to raise cancer awareness,” says Kennedy Jarvis from Saturday’s R 4 the Kids.
