Last month was no shave November, it’s very exciting for the young men at Badin. The best beard we saw has to go out to Tyler Gambrell. Tyler grew it out for only a month, but it still looked really good and fresh.

I asked Gambrell if he knew who he had donated to, he replied “Yes Makayla Borg," Tyler says he didn’t just do it for the looks, it really meant a lot to him.

Tyler said that there is ups and downs about having a beard, on the up side, Gambrell said “It’s a lot easier to get ready in the morning," because he doesn’t have to wake up early just to shave his beard. Gambrell was very pleased with the outcome. Tyler says that if he had the choice to keep it he definitely would.

On the down side, Gambrell said “There are some downs to having a beard, it gets a little itchy and sometimes it tickles my nose.” But at the end of the day Gambrell said “beards are cool, stay in school.”
