Have you ever wanted service hours but have no clue where to go, or who to help? Well, the boys and girls club is a great way to start.
The Boys and Girls Club is a nonprofit that works to create a safe and nurturing after-school environment for the youth in need in Hamilton. They provide life-enhancing programs, opportunities for character development, and relationships with mentors, in order to offer hope and possibility to the youth of Hamilton.
You can get your foot in the door by coming to Meet. Serve. Grow. (Badin Service events that provide the opportunity to get to know local nonprofits and provide service) at the Boys and Girls Club on Tuesday, March 5, from 2:30-5:15.
You can sign up on my.InnerView.org or you can contact Megan Halverson. If you can't make that date, you can serve anytime at the Boys and Girls Club by reaching out to them. She can give anyone interested their contact info.
When you spend time in service at the Boys and Girls Club, you will have the opportunity to build relationship with the kids by helping with homework, playing games and engaging in conversation.
If you have any questions contact Megan Halverson by email mhalverson@badinhs.org
