Rachael Cadman wants to make a difference in this world. Her way of doing this is going to be by helping kids with disabilities and be a special education teacher. Cadman is a senior at Badin. While she doesn’t do any clubs or sports at Badin, she does swim in the summer. She also has four siblings and while her favorite subject is English, her favorite teacher is Mr. Zimmerman.
“I plan on being a special ed teacher and helping out kids with disabilities as much as I possibly can,” Cadman said.
Rachael plans to attend Cincinnati University and specialize in down syndrome cases. However, this is not her only plan for the future.
“I really want to have horses because they are gorgeous but mainly because they help kids with disabilities,” Cadman said.
She also plans to live in Colorado for many reasons, including a childhood home and the beautiful snow. However, Colorado is not her favorite place to go.
“I loved Tennessee, mainly Pigeon Forge because of the amazing hikes and community. It is very pretty and I had a great experience when I went.”
Rachael had great memories of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee including the hikes, skybridge, and the experience of the whole family squeezing into a cabin. Rachael has a very great life ahead of her: the horses, being a special ed teacher and living in Colorado but most interesting of all is her choice in pets...
“I just love monkeys so much because they are so cute and I’ve seen them hugging human beings and it looks like they have a mind of their own," Cadman said.
