To ensure that this element is being met, rubrics and self assessments have been created for the Perkins (pg. 1-2) and CTEIG (pg. 2, 4-5) grants with the following basic criteria:
Offers CTE programs where all pathways are 300 hours and show a clear sequential progression of courses.
All courses are reported in CALPADS as CTE.
Provides a catalog of programs and courses required at each grade for each CTE pathway.
Examples of Evidence
Provides list and description of pathway courses, identifying the planned sequence of courses.
Provides document listing CTE pathway courses reported as CTE in CALPADS.

This guide will support you in using the correct course codes for the courses in your CTE pathways. Proper coding is essential for accurate tracking of pathway completers on the California School Dashboard.

The school master schedule allows students to follow the recommended sequence of CTE courses to complete the selected career path(s).
Clear sequence within HS, to post secondary, to industry
The majority of CTE programs lead to postsecondary education or training, employment or postsecondary degree.
CTE courses are industry certified, have been submitted to meet high school graduation requirements, University of California a-g (UC a-g) credit, or articulated with a community college.
