Guess the date and time that the ice on Payette Lake melts out!

The winner of the raffle is the person that guesses the closest date and time to actual ice out date and time. 

The ice out date/time will be determined using a timing device attached by a cord to a metal plate that is placed on the ice by the barrel. When the ice melts, the metal plate will sink into the lake prompting the attached cord to trigger the timing device to record the date/time the ice has melted. This is different than the historical method for determining the ice out.

The winner will be notified and announced on the AWeSOMe! website. 

Proceeds after expenses we be split 50/50, between the winner(s) and the Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall (AWeSOMe!) up to the maximum payout. The maximum payout to the winner is $1,000 (based on Idaho State Lottery Rules). All proceeds above the maximum payout will be go to AWeSOMe! for a fundraiser to support our programs of providing recreation for kids and adults with disabilities.

Guesses are no longer being accepted. We will report the winner after the ice melts out on the lake.

Online guesses for the 2024 Ice Out raffle will be available until Midnight March 31, 2024.

• Fill out the appropriate form below for the number of guesses you are paying for. 

• Your guesses will be sent to us for tracking the entries. Additionally, your guesses will be sent to your email that you provide.

• Guesses without payment will not be included in the raffle.

Note: In the event of equipment failure, the ice out committee will determine the date and time of ice out.
