Vice President
Luke joined the AWeSOMe! board in the Spring of 2025.
Luke has a connection to both the adaptive world and the outdoor sports world. He is the father of an amazing special needs daughter who brings joy and light wherever she goes. He has been involved in 'extreme' sports his entire life -- his dad took him on a 75 mile hike in what would become "The Frank" when he was 6 years old and then taught him how to white water canoe. Those experiences blossomed into other adventures like skiing, climbing, cycling, trekking, and the study of aboriginal survival skills. He's done some pretty fun adventures all over the world with various populations from corporate executives to special needs populations.
Luke spent his entire professional career developing people and organizations. He is a consultant by trade and has worked with some amazing clients all over the world. His job is to look for ways to improve and develop organizations then create a plan and execute on the plan. Luke has a knack for recognizing potential then helping that potential be realized. He tends to dream big and invite those around him to do the same. He also recognizes that there may be barriers to overcome and remove on our way to big dreams…it doesn’t happen overnight.
Luke served on the board and was club captain of the Shanghai Community Sports Club, a 4,000 member multi-sport facility, for a 3 year term. He currently serves on the Toby's Place board in McCall, ID.
Luke Writes... "We live in a world of beauty and wonder just waiting to be explored and enjoyed. As we get out in nature we learn things about ourselves and those around us which helps us expand our limits and leverage our potential. These experiences give us confidence to face challenges we will all inevitably face. I love that AWeSOMe! provides a way for all -- regardless of physical, mental or emotional limits -- to get out and do things that grow us. It's an honor to be a part of AWeSOMe! and help create a means by which all can become more than they imagined they could be."
Ingrid was a co-founder of AWeSOMe! in 2002, and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer.
She has been working as an adaptive ski instructor since 1986, first certified with National Handicapped Sports & Recreation Association (now part of the Professional Ski Instructors Association, PSIA) as a level II adaptive alpine ski instructor in 1987.
She earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University in 1994 and moved to McCall in 1997.
Ingrid feels volunteering is an important aspect of living a balanced life and continues to enjoy facilitating recreational opportunities for people with disabilities and opportunities for others to volunteer and learn from our students and their families, to see well past disability and view and value each person as a member of our society. She states, “I have learned and grown from my volunteer experiences at least as much as any of my students and want to foster that educational aspect in all our volunteers.”
We are fortunate to have Morgan Stage as a Board of Directors member since 2023.

Morgan is a retired Software Engineer in Boise. While living in Boise he participated and served on the advisory board of the Alternate Mobility Adventure seekers program at Boise State University before it evolved into the Boise City Parks & Recreation AdVenture program.
