AWeSOMe! is invested in protecting the health of all our participants and their families, our volunteers, staff, and our greater community. As we have throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, AWeSOMe! will be following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines. This includes frequent hand washing and social distancing whenever possible.

A person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who suspects they have COVID-19 is expected to stay home for at least 5 days and should not attend AWeSOMe! activities. If that person has moderate or severe illness, or persistent fever, they should stay isolated for at least 10 days.

In addition:

1. We strongly encourage COVID vaccination; however, vaccination is not required at this time for participants or volunteers participating in the AWeSOMe! program.

2. All AWeSOMe! program attendees are collectively responsible for helping us all stay healthy and enjoy  successful participation in AWeSOMe! programming.

3. This policy may be revised/updated as new information regarding COVID and regarding the status of COVID infections in our local community becomes available and/or CDC Guidelines are updated.
