Have you ever thought where chocolate came from? The Mayans and soon the Aztecs loved this "spicy drink". It was when Hernan Cortes brought this to Spain that bitter chocolate was sweetened. The 6th graders tried 2 different types of chocolate and came up with their own brand. Here are their chocolate ads.
Task:
Students had to compare and contrast two chocolate types: 58% cocoa and 100% cocoa, using sensory details.
After which, they created their own chocolate brand, chocolate flavor and a slogan for their product.
Their ads must be relevant, creative, persuasive, and neat. Which chocolate would you want to try?
This school year advanced our computer experience. With a lot of things going electronic, the 6th graders amped up their technical skills through these digital presentations!
