This year has been a year full of adjusting and recreating the wheel, and PE class was no exception. We started off the year with two quarters of online PE! With little to no equipment available to send home with the students, we made the most of our class by just getting our bodies moving! These two quarters consisted of many different body weight exercises including push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks just to name a few. We also did units of line dancing, kick boxing, and flexibility training. Please enjoy this video of our 8th grade class performing the Cotton Eyed Joe :)
We started 3rd quarter with hybrid in-person PE! With smaller classes we were able to focus on building our skills in many different sports. These sports included basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, badminton and baseball/softball.
4th quarter PE we had students back in person full time! With larger classes and having the students 5 days a week we were able to not only focus on the skills in many different sports, but we were also able to include more games and team activities.
