Physical Education (P.E)
PE Task 11: Obstacle Course
Design an obstacle course for your whānau or class to complete. Think about what equipment you will need, and what challenges you can invent that need completing - think balancing, dodging, climbing, jumping. Perhaps add a time limit to put the pressure on! Create a document in your PE/Health folder to share your planning
PE Task 12: Basketball Speed Shot Challenge
How many shots can you get in in 1 minute? If you do this
at home, send us a video. At school we can team up and

PE Task 7: Dance Challenge
Watch the following dance video and see if you can follow the dance moves Happy. Have some fun!
Your challenge is to make up a dance to a favourite song. You might want to just come up with a sequence for the chorus, or you may be brave enough to take on the whole song! Happy has a good selection of basic moves you could use, or you can take a look at this video Dance Monkey and check out some of their moves that you could use.
Be brave, video it and share with your teacher or class! Or teach someone else in your whānau!
Important note: Please make sure that the words of your song are suitable, especially for sharing with your classes
PE Task 6: Sock Shot Sit-Up Challenge
Grab some socks, a basket or bucket, and a 1 minute countdown and challenge yourself to see how many sit ups and basketball shots you can successfully complete! If you think this sounds a bit weird - it probably is! But it’ll be fun, and it will strengthen your abdominal muscles while you have fun! Challenge your teacher, class or whānau to beat your score!
PE Task 5: Fitness Character Challenge
Beat your favourite movie character in the first of this week’s fitness challenges.
