Here is a task with lyrics that may say one thing, but actually mean another. Read the lyrics and answer the questions.

Instructions:

  • Open your Google Drive and select your Topic folder.

In songs, many artists use figurative language like similes, metaphors, and descriptive language.

In your own words, analyse these lyrics to understand what the artist means. The first one is done for you.

Instructions:

  • Open your Google Drive and select your Topic folder.

  • Open the Google Doc called Music Task 1: Crack the Lyrics and record your analysis of the lyrics provided by Miss Cook.

I am running a competition during Alert Level 3 and would like you to record yourself playing an instrument and/or singing a song that you have taught yourself this term.
